Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a leadership program within the school, encouraging students to actively participate in school programs.
The SRC is made up of the school captains, vice-captains, prefects and a representative elected from each class from Years 1-6. SRC members represent all students in the school and organise ways for students to participate in school life.
This student group meets every month with a teacher to discuss ideas to improve student welfare, extra-curricular school activities and fundraising.
SRC initiatives have included the design of the school uniform, stage sporting competitions, healthy lunch program, buddy reading program, school discos and supporting major charities. SRC members assist with the organisation of special days such as ANZAC Day, Harmony Day, Sorry Day, World Environment Day and the Campsie Festival. The SRC is also responsible for the publishing of the annual school newspaper Campsie Kids.
Participation in student leadership programs such as SRC helps our students learn to be leaders.
